First from South Africa

As many of our morning regulars know, one of our favorite morning barista's has gone off to South Africa to work with orphans.  We got a report on her first week -- all is going well.  She arrived, toured the city -- both the privileged areas and the very poor areas.  Her work is with children in a day care, in the very poor area.  She says they are wonderful and caring kids who are responding to her and her colleagues.  

She has already experienced one of the difficulties in the SA world - a riot kept her from being able to travel to the daycare one day late last week.
