What about the darkened bakery case?

Our pastry chef, Advah, was offered a great position within blocks of her home -- and so we wished her well.

We are interviewing potential candidates - had a great guy work with Bob and we really thought he'd be "the one", however  he lived out of the area and at the last minute, the move to NJ was not to be.

We are currently working with 2 possibles -- more detail will follow.  

We do not want to make this decision lightly since the quality of our pastries is key to much that we do.  

In the cafe, we'd like to have more desserts on offer each day -- perhaps an actual dessert menu is in the offing.  

In the bakery, we'd like to expand the offerings and would like to have a pastry chef who will help guide that process.  So, we'll see what's next for the BR in this area!

For now -- cookies, cupcakes, scones, all our breakfast pastries are being made by Bob and Cory ( the bread guys)
