August 1st, better now than later to get back in the blog saddle. So much going on and yet we are looking for a few weeks rest (2 wks hence!)
We continue to have 1st time visitors, regularly and many who become regulars. One of my favorite comments from a recently added "regular" is: you have converted us, no more diners! breakfast at the Rooster is for us.
And that is fine, we love cooking breakfast & I am personally amazed at how many people have oatmeal in the summertime!
Looking at a 1 yr review - what's happened as planned, what's happened that was totally unexpected, surprises, encouragements, disappointments - we are starting to take a moment or two to reflect and our 1 yr anniversary newsletter will have a bit about that as well as plans for yr 2.
